Bartlett Electric Cooperative, Inc., is seeking an experienced Broadband Plant Engineer to support the planning and construction of our growing broadband (fiber) network. This is a great opportunity to work on large‑scale fiber projects in a collaborative, utility‑focused environment.

In this role, you'll design outside plant (OSP) fiber infrastructure, including routing, splicing plans, and equipment placement.

• Prepare staking sheets, construction drawings, and documentation using GIS tools
• Develop material lists, cost estimates, and timelines
• Coordinate permitting (ROW, easements, road crossings)
• Work with construction crews and contractors to ensure quality and compliance
• Perform field staking and maintain accurate fiber records

Position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5 years' directly related experience.
